Polk Bloggers Divide County
Like an old-fashioned Chicago “Bosses meeting” bloggers in Polk County met tonight to divide the county.
Seriously, we met together to chat about the wonders that is living and working in Polk County. We spoke a bit about the technical aspect of blogging, a bit about media in the blogging arena, and a bit about coffee.
In attendance were Vivian (Mama Need Java), Billy (Polk County News Blog), Barry (The Ledger Online), and Josh (Empirical Polk). I was there to provide an audience.
No, seriously, I was there to take photographs. Without a flash. In low light.
We didn’t have an agenda. It was five people who read each other’s blogs getting together to meet face-to-face. We had a nice time gabbing for about 2.5 hours. Vivian has a good entry on her blog about the get together.
We didn’t schedule the next get-together, but if we set another meeting you’ll read about it here.

Did I mention I flinch when some one takes photos unexpectedly. I demand a photo of you in here too. Maybe in your sixties gear?

Unexpectedly? Josh took a photo first and who could miss my big camera?
But fair enough

Yeah, but I deleted my photo
As for the next meet-up I voted for Winter Haven!

Winter Haven? Is that in Polk County? Can you give me directions?
Seriously, Winter Haven sounds good. Where in town?
